How does Power saving mode save battery?

The Power saving mode saves battery by reducing the location update frequency during passive tracking.

During passive mode (without user intervention), the Pawfit tracker updates your pet's location every between 30 seconds and 2 hours, depending on the activity level of your pet, when power saving is off.  With power saving on, the update rate is between 30 seconds and 4 hours. 

The power saving mode has no impact on the other active tracking modes such as Live Tracking.
