Pawfit pet tracker is specifically designed and optimised for tracking dogs and cats. It is the sole responsibility of the owner and user to abide by the law and rules in areas the Pawfit is used.
Battery
• Pawfit pet tracker uses rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery.
• The battery cannot be replaced or removed.
• Do not charge your Pawfit with a power source greater than 5V and 2.1A.
• Keep Pawfit away from flammable objects and materials.
• Do not charge Pawfit near a heat source or in direct sunlight.
• Do not charge Pawfit while it is wet.
• Do not short circuit the positive and negative terminals of the charging pins.
• Never leave Pawfit unattended whilst charging.
• If Pawfit is damaged, it should be repaired or disposed of immediately.
• Do not use a fast-charging source to charge your Pawfit.
• If Pawfit starts to smoke, catch fire and deforms during charging, immediately turn off the power, remove the tracker from the charger and do not use it again.
• Recycle your Pawfit correctly, never throw them in the bin.
• The operating temperature of Pawfit is 14 to +122 °F (-10 °C to +50°C).
Disregarding the above safety instructions can cause damage and possibly even cause the battery to explode.
Failure to adhere to this safety information could result in the warranty being made void.
Electromagnetic compatibility
Please avoid exposing your Pawfit pet tracker to strong magnetic fields as they may potentially damage your tracker or cause it to malfunction.
Disposal
Batteries are considered household hazardous waste and should be disposed of properly at a hazardous waste collection site. Alternatively, you could contact Pawfit for recycling options.
