Symptoms
I have all my WiFi's selected, why does the Pawfit still lose connection inside my house?
Resolutions
The Pawfit 2 uses GPRS/2G/GSM and the Pawfit 3 uses LTE/4G phone network only to communicate with the App. They do not use WiFi to send and receive data. For more information please visit Does my tracker connect to the home WiFi?
If the phone signal is poor in your house, you may not be able to operate the tracker or receive tracking data in time. However, it continuously monitors the phone signal and reconnects automatically once it detects a reliable phone signal. Once the tracker goes outside where there is a better signal, you will be able to track your pet again.
If you are worried about your pet escaping, you may set up a safety zone around your house. You will be alerted with a safety zone alert once your dog crosses this ‘virtual fence’. To learn how to create or edit a safety zone, please go to: How can I edit or add a safety zone?
[Provide Device ID and Postcode]
If it is not working well, please contact support by quoting the postcode (or ZIP code) and device ID. Where can I find my device ID?
