Symptoms
My Pawfit has not recorded any activity today, what can I do?
Resolution
Pawfit requires both phone and GPS signal to work. If either phone or GPS signal is poor, you won't receive up-to-date tracking data. For more information please refer to the following link: How does Pawfit work?
Check your device if it has been:
- Charged and switched on: How do I know if the device is on or off?
- Connected to a network: How do I know if my Pawfit is online or not?
If it is a Pawfit 2 and appears offline, please refer to this article for more troubleshooting: My Pawfit 2 can be charged, switched on, but fails to connect (status card greyed out, device not responding, LED flashing red when power button pressed, not updated for XXX hours)
If it is a Pawfit 1 and appears offline, please refer to this article for more troubleshooting: My Pawfit 1 can be charged and switched on but fails to connect and the status card is greyed out.
If your device is online but your concern is that it is a faulty device, please refer to this article to check if your device can receive a GPS fix. Please refer to this article for more information: My tracker is showing GPS weak, what can I do?
Make sure that you are logged in with the correct account that your Pawfit is registered to. If you have forgotten your password of your original account, please refer to this article for more information: How do I reset my Pawfit App login password?
Lastly, please check if the device is worn tightly on your pet's harness or collar as the activity information derives from your pet’s acceleration. If the device is placed loosely or is not sitting correctly around your pet's neck or body, it may not be able to track your pet’s activity accurately.
You may also check your pet's activity by visiting the Activity or Trip screen which historically stores your pet's data.
